Look up old PR rating?

Is there a way to see the PR history for a domain?

I just purchased a domain which I found out had a website on it about a year ago. Is there anyway to find the PR (and any other pertinent info) about this domain?

Not as far as I'm aware Stin. You can always check the multiple datacentres to see if the PR hasn't updated yet but that's all as far as I'm aware.

There's a possible niche in the market for recording websites PR values for a PR history lookup ;) Anyone interested?

Yeah, I dont really suspect there is a way, unless someone records it.

Anyways, i found several websites listing my domain as "newly available", so whoever is out there tracking domains that come available needs to start tracking PR with those domains.

Sounds like a cool program to write, track PR and DMOZ inclusion for all expired domains. Anyways, thanks.

I was looking for an answer to this question too and it seems that there is indeed no tool that checks it. I'm not sure even if google stores all the old PR values.
The only way I can think of is to search for it. Sometimes there are lists of expired domains with PR and people also post their PR in forums, so make a little search and you might be lucky :)
