so im looking around i dont know what is true but look this i look up these fourms to see the value in them and this what i got http://www.cubestat.com/forums.digitalpoint.com $5,887,098.87 http://www.websitevaluecalculator.com/ $9,710,684 but website calculator said google was worth 1.5 billion im like come on they make that in a month.
those tools are bullshit.. a lot of websites are full blown professional businesses some with hundreds of employees.. you need financial analysts to determine the value of them..
Don't take it seriously with the value that is generated by the tools. It's just for fun only. The value of the sites can only be determine by the owner himself. - Dynashox -
These tools are estimating tools that look at traffic only, meaning; what would a site make if it only monetized with good ads. When are they very handy; when you want to buy a site that makes money from traffic only and the price they want for it is absurdly higher than such a tool says; usually it is too high then and should be lower for you to buy it.
Yeah, these tools do not work at all. Generally speaking the value of a website is 5-6x monthly earnings. Of course, this all varies depending on the size of the website/business in which analysts or other specialists may need to be brought in to determine value.
There are many tools like that would calculate based on back links, pr, search engine index and more, but best one is which ever show lowest value. Thanks
Ok, funny thing i just tried the tool with a website with zero rankings and zero page views apparently that site is worth 80$ :s
