Look at my stat: Is affiliate program fit for my website?

I just add this last Friday Eastern Time. I sacrificed my adsense to test affiliate program using CJ to know if I will earn more from this program. But it seems like affiliate program is not fit for my market niche(Sports). I'm earning 10$-20$ in adsense everyday using all spaces in my website.

Can someone pls. give me an advise if I will continue using CJ or I should stick with adsense? Or maybe the stat is not in real time and advertisers are not yet showing all the sales and give CJ one more week? anyone?

    Thanks in advance! :)

It's hard to give you a real answer because there are other variables to consider like the products you were displaying and what your site is all about.

If you want to display your url, I would be glad to look and give you my thoughts.

1.1 Mil impressions and 342 clicks? Seems like you're showing the wrong ads for your audience.

yes agree to both, might be wrong ads and also we still aren't sure, we need to knowthe specifics of your site i.e. products/niche. hence, if you're into sports i bet there are tons of nice programs in there... have you tried on BodyBuilding? but then again, that will have to be related to your type of products, again..

I think you need to mention your website URL, so we can check your niche, ads, as well as ads placement ourself for better evaluation.

Implement adsense section targeting around the titles, ignore the rest of the content and then come here to thank me for it. That will increase your ctr 500% or more. Titles are clicked for a reason.

Try out some signup based ie Lead based products where you get paid per signup and also try to put up some polls on your website by asking your visitors if they sports related products online or not. Through these poll setup on the main areas of your website you can know if your visitors generally buy stuff online or not.

This can be just a option to know what type of visitors you get on your website, and if the poll says that they buy some kind of merchandise, ask them what stuff they buy and then keep those affliate products on your website.

This is just a test & try opinion , which can help you in boosting your affiliate sales and if the results say negative move back to pay per click programs which can pay you good returns apart from adsense.

    Hello,

All what the guys mentioned about recommending affiliate ads for niches oriented sites make sens. Let me add some tips for you:
1- First why Aff ads OR Adsence? Why not both. Put adsence within the content and in the titles sections and aff ads in the banner spaces.
2- Create a reviews section in your site. Reviews and recommendations works far better than banners. Don't forget to have a newsletter if you don't already have one.
3- Test different products/offers. Then test different ones... Test, test, and test. Testing is the key.
4- Give priority to leads based programs (those are easier). But again, it's harder to get sales but one sale can bring you more money than a week of Adsence.

    To your success!

Try a wait and watch scenario or else you need to try other products, but you have enough clicks for sales tough luck dude
