This is not a "review" per say, more of a "please look at my domain" think. i registerd "thetvboard.com" <-- i wonder if you think that will work good as a domain for a tvforum with Vbulletin ?
hello, its not that bad at all ... i would rated 50% so you can build on it with a good seo and so on... cheers, Radu
Tell you the truth, 90% of people don't care once your site is popular that what is name of domain? - Just think, if facebook.com had name mybook.com or bestbook.com or niceface.com do you think people would not go? - If Google.com had jelly.com or jumbo.com do you think people would not use it? - Just think, we use "Yahoo" word when we get exited, but now people use as that domain to check mail, directory, search engine, news, and more as portal with everything. --- If you don't advertise and optimized your forum thetvboard.com so it would not be popular. --- If you have forum name myxyz.com and you spend good amount of money to advertise, forum is optimized for search engines than you would have lots of traffic. It's depend and very important that don't let the spammer get destroy your forum once it get popular. Good Luck
Keep the name simple. I agree that "the" is redundant. Also, who are your competitors, what is their size, who is going to join your community. The name is important, but it is worth next to nothing without evaluating the facts around you.
If you are looking for the domain name, then the idea will differ. If it is popular one, nobody cares the domain name. SEO is the matter!
