While surfing the forums, I came across a Google image ad that looked pretty similar to an actual Adsense ad. I didn't think Google allowed this.

What do you think think? I took a screenshot which is located here: http://www.picgoo.com/uploads/clicksor.jpg (sorry for the black space)

Have you tried reading any other threads on this forum???? This question has been asked and answered several time.

Just surf around in the AdSense & AdWord forum, I'm sure you'll find the answer without asking all the dumb questions and thinking that everyone should waste their time educating you. Try educating yourself.

Yes that is one of them. There is another where Shawn talks about using Clicksor on this forum.

I think having those ads are okay as long as adsense ads are not on that page. I know that they don't want ads similar to the ones that look like Adsense because they sent me an email before. But at that time I had adsense and another company which looked similar to adsense on the same page. If Adsense is not on the same page as those ads i think it's okay.

Clicksor ads are not Google image ads, they are alternate google ads, but one thing I *have* seen are actual Google image ads that *are* formatted to look like AdSense. Interesting approach, sort of the best of both worlds... Looks like a text ad, but you don't have to share the spot with anyone. :)

No, I think it was the allfeed ads (which are similar), although I might be wrong.

if it was similar, why do you feel they won't object to it here? or are you just waiting to see if they notice it and request it?

I think the problem with the other was that it required people using it to alter the Google AdSense JavaScript. I think that was the problem Google had with it, not the ads themselves.
