We all know that Apple products carry a rather high premium. Of course, plenty of people would say that the price tag is justified by the overall design aesthetic, the quality of the product, and the resale value in the future. We absolutely love MacBooks, both in terms of design and functionality, and if you’ve got a bit of a penchant for being an individual, then the MacBook is definitely for you. It performs well in reviews constantly, even hitting the top ten in a PC MAG best laptops feature! There’s no doubt that it pretty much lives up to its price tag, but at the cost, you know that you have to give it the protection it deserves.

    Protect Against Theft
MacBooks obviously come with a fairly decent warranty, but in our eyes it’s not your MacBook simply breaking down that‘s the worry. Put simply, Apple products are always sought after, and the MacBook is no exception. They are a target for thieves. Because the second hand market for MacBooks is so active, it’s easy for a thief to move one on. When you consider the retail price for a MacBook Pro you are talking about four figures every time. You can pick up a good condition second hand MacBook for around £500 – so stealing one brings rich rewards for the conscientious thief!

Spend a moment browsing the internet and it soon becomes clear that laptop theft is a major issue. Thousands upon thousands get stolen every year, and a huge proportion of those stolen are Apple products. Sometimes you get them back and sometimes you don’t but you can bet your bottom dollar that if you are not insured, you’re going to have to fork out an awful lot of money to get back on the Apple ladder again!

    Get Yourself Covered
The only sensible thing to do when you buy a MacBook is to source some good value insurance for the product. If you search for Protect Your Bubble Gadget Insurance, you’re sure to find a good deal. Protect Your Bubble are a well thought of and highly recognised company that offers some excellent insurance policies for those things you value in and out of the home. Get insured with them and you can expect a raft of features which should mean you are covered for all but the most unlikely of scenarios. You can guard against theft, breakdown once your warranty has expired, pretty much any type of accidental damage that befalls your MacBook including liquid damage, and even cracked screens can be repaired or replaced. When you consider that the outlay for such full covers starts from only £4.99 per month, it’s hard to think why someone wouldn’t get themselves covered. Of course, it’s yet another outlay every month, but if you just start to consider the situation you would be in if something terrible happened to your MacBook and you weren’t covered at the time, then it becomes a very easy decision to make. Get yourself covered today!
