Its strange.... There are some sites that come up 1st page for "New York Cars" But when you search "New York Cars for sale" ....... those same sites rank on the 5th page Ive noticed this a lot..... Im guessing you must need the phrase possibly more than once in your text Has anyone else seen or ever experienced this????
That's called keyword research dude, and it should be considered before you even start optimizing any website.. Well, you need to include those long tail nor general keywords in your link building campaigns.. ex: buy, sell, invest, etc... Inner linking structure, content and anchor text plays a huge part as well The point is if any website/page is optimized better for that particular keyword/phrase it should and will rank higher
It means that the KEI for New York Cars for sale is higher than the short tailed keyword New York Cars keyword analysis campaign before SEO campaign
You know, "for sale" is not a long-tail keyphrase. If 'New York cars' is the keyphrase, then long-tail keywords might be stuff like: engine, Bronx, alternator, diesel, upholstery, tint, Queens, dealerships, Manhattan, cupholders, steering wheel, sunroof, parking, parking space, Times Square, etc etc etc You can't really optimize for long-tail keywords, because there are so many. You just need lots of related content. LOTS!
The order and arrangement of the keywords, singular or plural, additional keyword combination will turn up different results. It the way on how their algo works.
Yes singular & plural is big too, I notice that all the time.... you might come up high for NY Cars.... but on the 20th page for NY Car
