Selling LongIslandPhotos.org - Collecting Dust - Make it right!

    Originally developed to be a royalty free stock image site for Long Island New York residents to use and share photos of the area.

    It's been sitting for 3 + years collecting dust now and I'm cleaning everything out.... getting rid of it all....

    So, in short, geographically it would serve as a great site for the area or for travel information, tourism, etc... It used to get alot of search engine traffic and organic traffic but now that it lays dormant the bounce rate is ridiculous...

    But it does rank high on the domain keywords...

    Long Island Photos / Long Island Images / Long Island pictures / photos of Long Island / pictures of Long Island

    A marketer could easily capture much more traffic...

    Included:
    - All of the pictures
    - Files on server / database

    I DO NOT have the psd / original source files... they were lost

    There is value here... = $75

    For an extra $25 you can have the hosting for a year from date of sale.

    1) Is the script that powers the gallery unique? If not, what is it?

    2) Does the script have a backend to control the settings?

    It's an older version of ktools photostore. - Yes - it has a full backend management system that includes text content as well...

    Got a couple of questions that I got many times via pm that I figured I'd share the answers to save time and effort.

    --------------------------

    1 - Do you own the rights to the photos on the site? = YES! - there were 2 sessions of photos done in a few surrounding areas a couple of years ago - the photos are in raw / undedit format. - All photos are on the site + 1 zip file from the first shoot.

    2 - Why are you selling? - No interest in the site, haven't touched in YEARS as stated above and I could use some cash... plain and simple.

    3 - Did it ever make any money on adsense? = For a couple of months it held a pr 2 and averaged about $15 a month.. but only for a few months... I don't know what the spike was from but - I never promoted the site at all.

    4 - What were you going to do with it? = I was actually going to get a good assortment of photos on the site, share them with fellow NY'ers, then pick out a bunch, edit them in order to create a coffee table book... But didn't follow through.
