Long term vs short term success?

All the marketing forums are filled with posts saying:
"I got indexed in 12 hours"
    "I made my first sale"
    "I made $62 this month"
    (Like, Whoopee..)

Then there are the twits who claim "I made $50,000 last month. Pay me $60 and I will tell you how I did it." Yeah... right.

So... asking the forum in general:

    Do you suggest:

    (1) Making a "quickie" landing page and trying to get backlinks? (Not counting buying Adwords traffic) or

    (2) Creating an "authority" site on a niche over a period of months or years using real and useful content?

The long way is the best way. There are no shortcuts.
Don't think about the traffic and money. Think about the quality of your product and its contribution to the net.

    There you go:)

I doubt if #1 option would do any good for you. #2 obviously the best way in the long run.

Send me an email and I'll help you out. For the record, getting indexed in 12 hours is nothing special, just takes a few good backlinks.

If you want to talk about making money online then read this and drop a line as noted. Serious offer for all webmasters, except copper12.
