$1/100 words is not a high rate for someone trying to earn a living in the US and especially not the UK (the conversion rate of dollars to pounds is roughly 2:1). I don't want to pick on you, I'm just letting you know that, if you aren't getting the response you hope for, that might be why.
Perhaps if you tried people that worked in that area, instead of insisting on native, you may get better response.
