Im kind of confused on how to optimize a site and would love someone to give me example with long tailed keywords. Are you supposed to title a page with these LTKs? or just load up pages with content revolving LTK's or are you supposed to be anchoring off site with LTK's? Please help with this questions. Much thanks!
use the very used long term keywords for your site and optimize it in a better way for good results.Because the long term keywords are generating more traffic than the normal keywords.
BULLSHIT! Long tailed keywords tend to generate better conversions but WILL NOT AND CANNOT generate more traffic than first tier keywords because they have a much lower search volume - that is why they are call long tail!!
Due to low competition in LTKs, it may bring ur site high in SERPs but still won't give you high volume of traffic. For optimization spread the desired LTKs in the page contents the same way as you optimize a page for normal keywords.
Always those keywords which have been provided by google itself they help alot and the other important thing is that you should use relevent keywords which are highly searched about.....
Well, you'd need anywhere from 100 to just under 1000 top rankings for long tail keywords to even come close to generating the traffic for a broad keyword, but they do have their usage. christmas gifts 823,000 Monthly inexpensive christmas gifts 8,100 Monthly inexpensive christmas gift ideas 1600 Monthly So since your going to bottom feed the following should contain your long tail keyword Url if possible Title meta keywords tag meta description <h1>-<h6) tags Text content 250-300 words minimum with 2-3% keyword density maximum alt tags anchor text for backlinks Those are the basics you can start out with.
Actually traffic from a single long-tail keyword phrase CAN bring much more traffic than head terms... it just depends on whether or not it's possible to rank for the head term. If it is impossible for your URL to rank on page 1 or 2 for a competitive head term that has high search query volume then you are likely to get ZERO organic traffic for that head term. Ranking 50th for "refinance" is absolutely worthless... you might as well be ranking 5000th. It might, however, be possible for your URL to rank for "Mortgage Refinance in Los Angeles CA" since that keyword phrase is a LOT less competitive than the head term "refinance". Yes... It's true... there are much fewer searches for "Mortgage Refinance in Los Angeles CA". But who cares... Perhaps "Mortgage Refinance in Los Angeles CA" has 1/10,000th the search query volume as "refinance"... And perhaps "Mortgage Refinance in Los Angeles CA" only brings you 10 visitors per month... But ranking 3rd for "mortgage refinance in Los Angeles CA" brings you 10 more visitors than ranking 50th for "refinance" which brings you a fat 0 visitors. In competitive markets with new sites (and even lesser known older established sites) it's best to go after long tails keyword phrases first if you want traffic. They are easier to rank for and at least you get SOME trafffic (and it's generally more targeted). In competitive markets new sites (and even lesser known older established sites) should ignore head terms because you likely have zero chance of ranking for them anytime in the next couple of years until you get the thousands of good inbound links that the people on page 1, 2, 3 of the SERPs likely have. A little traffic from a long tail keyword phrase with low search volume is exponentially better than NO traffic from a popular head term. A long tail bird in the hand is better than 2 head term birds in the bush IMO.
it is better to target long tail keyword relevant to your site...its much easier to work for it..a high chance for your site to appear in the 1-3 page of SE.
i am getting more traffic from this long tail keywords compare to shorter ones... and it is not hard to optimize this coz they have less competitors....
long tail keywords can be much better for ur website because they dont have huge competitors but it doesnt means that u should leave the proper keywords ... use a mixture of keywords some should be long tail and some should be regular in ur page ... it will be beneficial for u
The trick is to cover all of the long tail keywords first, you can mix and match and it will all wash out in the end. Also, you can look at Google trends to see where the most searches are coming from, and do a little geo-targeting in the LTKs. I usually hit the low hanging stuff first and move on to the harder keywords after I start ranking for the long-tailed stuff. The problem with SEO, is that most people overthink it. Keep it simple, and you'll do fine.
