Im having trouble to get good long tailed keywords, most of them almost get none traffic, while good ones are highly competitive.. What do you guys use to get good longtailed keywords?
There are many tools available out there if you want to properly research long tail keywords for your website. I would suggest you to use Google AdWords Keywords Tool as a start. It's free and you can rely on the result they provide.
Also apart from the Google's Adwords keyword tool you can search for great keywords within Google at the bottom of the search where it says "Searches Related to"
Just write naturally and come up with a good content. Eventually there will be keywords in it that will rank well for long-tailed keywords.
this is not only bout long tailed keywords this is bout evry keyword out there in general...nd thats what the seo is all bout still comparatively its easier to rank for long tailed ones than a single word...to find those profitable ones as said above, Google adwords tool is a nice place at the beginning.
In most competitive areas long tailed keywords are as hard to rank as the big ones. And the top 10 websites will outrank you for any given long tailed keywords even with a non-optimized page. Options: 1. Find a less saturated niche 2. Stop digging deeply into the same keywords everyone is using and go find more lateral keywords 3. Put your long tailed keyword optimized content on a website Google is in love with, and outrank anyone.
The whole point of the longtail theory IS that they get very little traffic. But cumulatively lots of long tails that get a little bit of traffic added together get more traffic than the highly competitive high-volume searches. if you want a tool, go to hittail.com, which also explains how the theory of the long-tail works.
