I'm curious about the max length of domain name in search engine optimization terms. I have searched and read that domain name should not length over 63 characters but I am not sure for now if it's rule changed already. What do you think guys? Is 27-30 characters domain without dash ok?
i think if it is covering your keywords properly then SE may accept it easily but would not be a good one for a person who has to type it in adress bar!
You should make a balance between optimizing for the SE (By having keywords in your domain) as well as people finding it easy to type your domain name. Besides there are domains which do not even have any keyword in them and they still are #1. So, it's up to you.
woah, I don't think so. Even though quality backlinks could be easily in top 3 most important ranking factors, I wouldn't ignore keyword in domain name. In fact, that's one of the bests on-page SEO. Just because this factor doesn't reflect so directly to your position at SERPs, it doesn't mean it has no importance of it.
this domain has PR5. (if you think PR5 indicates an good SEO achievement) http://thelongestlistofthelongeststuffatthelongestdomainnameatlonglast.com/
