I noticed fiew days ago first time: unknown clicks. I have covered all sites in chanels, but I can`t figure from where this is comming from. Also, about 10 day ago in one of web logs I found big slurping by unknown "search engine".

Well for now, this is nice income. Anyway I`m gonna try to find out what is going on.. Better say "where"..

Any idea how to find out what is happening?

    thanks, vlada

I'd notify the adsense team ASAP of your finding.

Better notify adsense now, then face suspension of your account.

I will inform google (I allways forgot on that service, heh). Looking for alternative, first.

On one site I have subdirs, and they are channels. Anyone noticed some porblems with that? Or, any problems with stats at all these days? Some unknown clicks?

devbistro, better to lol than to cry (tears don`t count) ; )

Yes, it's better to immediately contact Google... someone is putting your account in a Big Risk and that's out of your control.

How did you find out about this? Hmm.. I wonder if it's possible to google for google_ad_client value in AdSense code.

Oh yea... another thing for everyone reading this thread. Is there anything that would prevent some malicious competitor to cut and paste my AdSense code in some porn site and then filing a policy violation to Google in attempt to get me banned? I don't see how I can protect myself from an abuse like that. I wish AdSense has a way to limit what domains my AdSense code can be applied to and ignore all other pages. Perhaps a way to generate an encrypted metadata that contains the domain information in the AdSense code. I guess either of those two methods do create more work for folks with lot of domains.

Its pretty easy to prove you don't own the site so a suspension is possible but it would be reversed quickly.

If you know of the site yo should email them immediatly. You will probably get back a form letter but that will come in handy should you be suspended.

As someone else said, it won't be lol if you lose your account. This thread is also a public record that you knew you were earning off it so delaying notification is a big mistake.

And don't think Google doesn't read the threads here ;)

That's a big question for me : how if somebody hate us, so he copy our adsense code and put it somewhere (ie; free blogs) and then he click it continuously. Sometimes I also notice that I have unknown click, but I thought that it was clicks from unlisted channel

The stealing page with code in it part = funny.
The leaving it there and collecing the money part = stupid.
The getting banned when the guy does something crazy part = don't come crying. ;)

I allready saw, once, on some forum, something like this: "hey guys could you help me, I have some page with someones adsense code in it. how can I delete it?..."

I remeber, I smile on that: someone who does`t know even to edit page could destroy your work in a minute. So, that is really meaning of running AdSense account. You are never safe, and till then I never look on AdSense in the same way.

If I drop, there will be new one.

This is why I lol - I read it, and, possibly I feel it now.

I can only sugest to at account pages G add editable list of sites, where publishers could enter domains where they have code. All other should be ignored!

Anyway, I deleted all my channels and make new one. Im gonna check once more all of this. If today will be the same, only one option stay.

I always thought that in order to get credit for the ad - you need to have the site in your adsense... not just YOUR ad pub... but wow, you learn something new everyday, I just got a few great ideas.
