I see a lot of stores selling fake lokai bracelets from China, they even have the Lokai logo on the printing. They are making tons of sales. Isn't this similar to the fake channel bags that got busted for being sold? I can't see how this is any different than selling drugs.... Any input?
Slightly naive to think that it's only Chanel bags being ripped off. You can buy fakes of everything - even car parts. Be careful what you buy and don't pay more than you are prepared to lose. I saw some cheap nike shoes while in Thailand, assumed they were fake - but the big question was whether they were from the same factory or copies. I wasn't about to risk my feet by running in actual fakes so decided I'd just wait till I got home and pay regular retail prices but know I was getting decent shoes. Now, my daugther got a nice Michael Kors handbag, that was a pretty safe buy because the worst that could happen is that it falls to pieces.
Im not naive for asking a question, obviously i'm aware more than just channel bags are being ripped, just using one other product as an example. However, thanks for your input.
If they're remotely popular there will be copies. Make sure you buy from a website that is obviously "official" and you shouldn't have to worry about buying a fake. The ultimate test will be on price. If it's too good to be true then the goods will be fake. I'd never heard of the bracelets btw, wasn't impressed by what I saw but each to their own.
Thanks for looking them up. And i have the same view, however a simplistic, minimal item really hits it off on social media platforms in my experience.
