Hi all, I have decided that I simply have too many sites to manage and so am selling www.logotistical.com , a logo contest forum. The site is brand new and comes with a leased vbulletin license (approximately 9 months left). I have modified the forums to include the iTrader module (called Feedback), and various other ones including a paid SEO-friendly URLs module and the 'pay to start a new thread mod'. Also, I purchased the skin and logo from VB Styles. The idea is that logo buyers will enter the site and for $9.99 be able to hold a logo contest. Designers will then design logos (and other graphical elements) for the buyer who will select the winner and pay the designer directly. Revenue potential: - $9.99 revenue per new post. (or any price you like) - Potential to take a % of the transaction if desired. - Advertising revenue. Assume there are no registered users yet as I tweaked the figures to get things rolling (I was going to gradually represent the 'correct' registration figures..!) The site is ready to go and connects to the Paypal gateway when a buyer posts a NEW thread (all replies are free to registered users). Also, assume zero traffic (although it has just indexed on Google). The site can also be used to hold contests as a third-party or 'agent'. This works by finding logo work requests on Rentacoder, Elance, getafreelancer etc and independently holding contests on their behalf. You can then sell them the designs from the contest and pay the winning designer (minus your cut of course). There is obviously no cost to admin for creating new threads! The introduction pages are designed to tableless CSS/XCHTML standards. I will also include 9 or so months of hosting with the deal.
