Contest Logo redesign needed $30 (48 hours)

    We require a professional redesign of the concept logo attached. It's almost as we want it, but needs improving.

    Brief:

    All the colors and elements should be kept pretty much the same with the Coolvectia font, if not similar. It requires a more professional feel whilst keeping it fun and quirky too.

    The pinpoint icon with map inside (top right) needs to be more prominent from the background and vectorized.

    Feel free to play around with various concepts as we are open to minor changes.

    It should be designed in a layered PSD (editable) and in a high resolution as it will be used in print material as well as web.

    If we like what we see there may be an opportunity for further graphic design work with us.

    Whether you win or not, I will try my best to provide decent feedback.

    Thanks for your submissions. General feedback so far:

    The font style needs to be closer to the original.

    The pole needs to look less clip art.

    The pinpoint needs to stand out more from the background red. The map should also be a close-up of Google Maps (see concept logo).

    The signpost should have a slight red gradient from top to bottom.

    I have variations of files, for both web and print. 300dpi/72dpi etc. :)

    Closest so far are #4 #6 (2) but still need quite a bit more work.

    Sign:
    - straight edge, thick white (#7)
    - vectorised sign (depth) (#6 2)
    - gradient

    Slogan:
    - coupon cut out border (see #8)

    Add drop shadow (see #8)
