    Ok everyone... not much there to excite me so far, sorry to be so blunt but....

    JRayers: while I am not a fan of what you have done (again no offense intended), you may be on to something with the concept.

    I will change the parameters then. Given that the site is all about speedway racing in Australia (plus some offshore) and the current logo take elements of the sport into account, what could you all do with a free reign, what could you come up that had that "wow" factor without looking cheap, nasty or cheesy? Remembering of course it will be used on stickers, shirts etc.........

    masjacky: thanks for your submission but not quite what I am after. I associate a kangaroo with tourism more than a motorsport.

    Nikola J (via PM): Interesting concept, but the car is wrong. Look up Sprintcars, USAC Midgets, Dirt Modifieds etc to see what I mean. The logo has to be fairly generic as we covers pretty much every division in the sport in one way or another.

    Everyone Please remember the name must contain the ".com", that is the name of the site and how everyone refers to it. Australian Speedway on it's on refers to the sport in general, not the site specifically.

    Please also remember this from the original post: "A nice to have would be "different" logos for various parts of the site. By different I mean the same base for the site root but have Forums, Blogs, Gallery, Arcade, Groups added in smaller letters underneath for the other parts of the site."- that would pretty much dictate the whole name on a single line versus split over 2. Besides, I would prefer the name to be all one "word" so to speak...
