How much does it effect if i have logo on all images and people save it. Do you think it's good to get back users or for marketing?
what kind of site are you promoting. what will your logo do for the visitor. and why will a user save your image you have to give more information to get correct reply
If they want to view more funny pictures, I suppose they will come back. The only thing is it all depends on the type of your logo, if you don't have your site name and if it doesn't symbolize your site as best it can, they might not find it. The logo would have to be in a position where there is no interest to the user, so the logo is visible, but not a distraction. The bottom right hand corner would probably be the best spot.
I think that: 1. Your logo should be sufficient to impress your view, preferably your website has already had one 2. Adding a link in your webite with a logo will somewhat help, as long as your URL isn't too long for viewers. Mike
stormy, having your logo on all your funny pics' site's images is a great way to promote it. Ebaum's world does it.
They hate him because he allegedly stole the images from others. As long as the funny pics on your site aren't stolen, watermarking them is a great way to promote your site
I've not been to Ebaums world for ever, but I had no idea about that site. Brings things to light..thanks for the link. Maybe our thread starter will feel the same way.
I have my domain name (without the http://www, but with the .com) on all of my images. You have to just accept the fact that people will steal your images to use on their own sites, and factor the loss as one of the cost of doing business on the Wild Wild Web. The domain name gets your name "out there" and will also get you some visitors who wants more of what they saw. I don't see any cons to this, only pros.
