    Hi there,
Please have a look at my logo at skyeyeliner.at. The website is still changing so I only want some opinions on the logo. The "NEU" in the button mean "NEW".

The font is all mine and meant to be kinda high (skyline-high ;-).

Well if you want my frank opinion I didnt like the Logo at all. The colour scheme does not seem to match with your logo and the meaning either.

I am sure you can make a much better logo than this for your website.

I think the logo is too skinny and it kind of looks compressed because it's so long and skinny... I would go for a different font. I get what you're trying to illustrate (its suppose to resemble skyliners right?)

Actually Skyeyeliner is the name of a song from a German band which was actually never published but only mentioned with lyrics in the booklet of one of their albums. I've designed the font to be skinny to make it look like it wants to reach the sky ;-)

Never said I didn't like the concept ;) It's a good idea, just needs to be reworked a bit.. maybe different layer styles or less harsh drop shadow?

I would take the drop shadow down to just a touch of shadow behind the text. Also I would change up the colors. Dark black to purple is a very dark scheme in contrast to the "sky" idea you're projecting (think blues and whites, maybe even light purple). Right now the logo is very large and with the color scheme it sits too heavily up there to project anything except being weighed down.
