Contest Logo needed

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a unique logo that I can brand as myself for my portfolio etc.

It needs to say my name: Dylan Nicholson
as well as something that makes it unique & brandable as mentioned above such as an icon or an illustration etc.

Colors etc don't matter. I won't be keeping my portfolio design much longer so I don't want it based on that at all, I will probably just make a new portfolio based around the logo.

Not set on a price yet. Will be somewhere from $5-10 maybe? If I get really good entries it may increase.

It looks really nice, but not sure it's what I am looking for. Don't necessarily like the y going over the D, but it's an option. Hasn't been tossed out yet, but would like to see other entries obviously. Feel free to create more entries.

@mobidik025 Sorry, don't really like this logo either. The icon just isn't what I'm looking for.

@Ruler Sorry, not good quality whatsoever and just doesn't seem like it really is something I'd enjoy as being branded for my name/portfolio.

@aRie keRRopi Not really what I'm looking for. Want an actual logo with my name etc that can be used for the logo on my website etc. Ultralight has the idea of making something professional and easily brand-able but I'm not quite sure about it.

I apologize to all entries since I don't really have any details to give as to what I want. Sort of just want to see what people come up with, and what will suit me best. The competition will be open for a while so feel free to get your entries in, as well as continue entering with new entries if you've already entered. @phoenix89 On the right track, something brand-able etc. Not sure on colors of it. Would love to possibly see what other entries you could come up with as that one is nice.

@Dante77 Nice entry but it seems like it wouldn't suit me. It looks very fresh and web 2.0 for the icon part but don't like the text part. Feel free to post more entries!

@Dante77 Font still isn't working. Not overly enthusiastic on colors either, feel free to keep trying.

@phoenix89 I like the first one better, maybe do something similar or something. Colors on first one are bad though.
