Contest Logo - Modern, Fresh, Clean - $25

Hi all,

Okay ... I am going to building a new site to promote "6 word Stories"

What are 6 word stories ... a story in 6 words.

Ernest Hemingway once wrote a story in just six words ("For sale: baby shoes, never worn.") and is said to have called it his best work, which started the idea.

Logo ...

As the title implies, I want a clean, fresh and modern logo.
Blocks of strong colour - Limited colour palette,
White background.
Can either include the text "6 word stories" (note plural for stories), or not.
Use fades and layers ...

Contest will end on 18th June - 18.00 pm BST (UK Britsh Summer Time).

Like your second concept. Perhaps you could look at having the number 6 in a contrasting colour, perhaps under the text?

Not sure about the font that you've chosen for the number 6 ...
I like the idea of having the 6 bigger than the other text, so perhaps play at making it bigger

Mobidik025 - Sorry, can't say why, but not there at all.

MrPeters - Very nice. Would you mind doing one where the book graphic is a different colour to the text?

Blackmarker - Very good just as they are.

Tajio - Good - could you put something in the speech bubble?

Slimshadys - Sorry - Too fussy.

D-Zel - Sorry - Too much ... too fussy, don't like the colour.

Universifer - Like this one --- buy could you change the text. Have the word "six" starting earlier in the curve of the number, have the word "word" the other way round so it is easier to read. The challenge I have is in reading the text.

Arie Kerropi - Sorry, can't see relevance of dice, too fussy overall.

Oscary - Like the design, can you play with the colours - specifically the blue.

Thanks everyone for all your great work ... you are all producing some great and thoughtful work, and making it difficult to decide which is best.

Looking at the quality of the work, I'll probably call an end to this competition before next friday.

I can't promise, but I may also have 2 winners as I have 2 sites.
