Logo - Logo concept provided - Winner will get 30$

The current logo is a template based and homemade bullshit. Forget about it.

Create something based on bubbles:

With :
# Logo within one larger bubble (or one bubble for each letter v e g e o ?) + some smaller bubbles for header, where words : tag, video, blog may appear (if not in Logo byline). The words could be in bubbles, with possibly people below.
# It could also be also be an idea that the small header bubbles come out from the larger logo one, like the children's bubble toy.

The bubbles MUST be nice one.

this is the first time I have ever done something completely as vector, so I thought it turned out pretty good.
so everything is in vector format except the fonts... which are sizable anyways.

Looks like Skype logo? I don't care anyway.

Pro: Nice idea of foam cloud, good job
Con: Missing logo byline. Idea for byline (see after). Text somehow difficult to read. Play slightly on contrast?

Why a bird?
Pro: Nice bubble
Con: Logo text is lost in the bubble: too much space around; Font is very common and thin; shadow is not appropriate; bubble surface effects are difficult to discover.

Overall satisfying in last shot. Maybe should you make the elements of logo byline (Popular Tags, etc...) bigger (size of your preceding post, #6 in thread), if necessary only because the logo must be ok if downsized (about 50% of size from post #11). Also consider make the logo text size bigger, as bubbled. The font and effect are nice.

Your "antenna" idea make me got an idea for a modification. The big bubble with the video looks like a airship.



You could give the idea of a propeller at the left of the bubble, with the Tags and Blogs widgets, and cut the arrow of the bubble. The airship would go from left to right.

Pro: good quality. Very nice bubble and logo text taking very much space in the bubble
Con: gives the impression that the video is the center part of the website.
