I am working on a logo and letterhead for my new freelance web business. Nothing fancy. I am not a particularly good designer - I thrive in code. But here is my shot at it nonetheless: Color scheme: Letterhead idea (proposals, contracts, business cards): Logo (which would go on the site): The idea is that I could use a more square, smaller version of my logo for print, and the larger version on the site. I think the larger one can still use a lot more work but I'm just throwing these ideas out there to get some feedback. Thanks -Jeff
I have a few more with color. Anyone have any input? I'm trying to go simpler (advice from elsewhere) focusing on typography.
I like your color choice, did you use Kuler by any chance? As far as logos go, I prefer the second version with the 'J1' close together with that nice negative space in there. The first logo with those extra shapes don't really work, that's not to that they can't but right now they are just in the way. Have you tried using 2 colors with the 'J1', ie. making the J the dark blue and the 1 the light blue... maybe something like that. As far as the stoke on the letters, thats not really needed and I think it looks better without. Looking good so far
yes I did get the colors from Kuler. Saw it on the front page, thought why not? and started to work with it. What do you think about this?
