The-Haunted - Not really feeling it. Don't like shiny or glassy looks. Sorry. The colours are fresh and interesting, but the font used for the text is a little boring. dreamer_spaff - Not feeling it. Looks like it is trying to be trendy, but ends up looking like it is from the late nineties. Older font, jagged, gradient colours, drop shadows and glows. Not a fan sorry. inzpiration - I don't really like how the top left square looks, though from the three concepts, I think the last looks the most interesting. Don't know if I like the D used for the logo either. Great effort though, and love the blues chosen. tsoft - The first one looks amazing. Love the blue. Not feeling the weird mustard brown in the second example. Can you use the darker colour on the second layout (with the logo to the left of the text)? Also, not sure if I like the letter spacing. The i and t touch and look off. Not a fan of the lower case g. Really loving the style of the g used in tickey's entries. Not that you HAVE to change the font though. zyndtel - Still not feeling it. Sorry. Still an interesting concept but not right for what I am doing here. Thank you very much for your effort though. katesrobyn - I don't like the font used, nor the weird spiral thing. Sorry. Looks too "old" And without the stylized font and the spiral, there really isn't anything to comment on. tickey - You are probably going to hate me, but I think your first entry is still the one to beat with regards to your entries. Could you place it to the left of the text relating to the site so I can see how it would look "implemented"? I'd also like to see the final one with the dark box around the darker C and lighter D swoop. Thanks. Very impressed with the simplicity, but polish and professionalism. TightWad - I see what you are doing, but I am not really feeling it. I find the whole "speech bubble" thing getting a bit too trendy, and I don't like the font used for the Digital Crumbs text. The blues chosen look nice though, and the D and C used for the speech bubbles looks kind of cool. anidesign - The middle concept looks amazing, the green on black is great, and powerful. Not sure if it is right for this project, but I'll definitely consider it. No other critiques at this point. waiz86 - Is pac-man eating the D? Still not enjoying it man. Sorry. I don't get what I am supposed to be getting out of the concept. :$ saema - All are way too basic, not a fan of reflections, and overall, not inspiring me in the least. Sorry, but I don't think that this is where your talent lies. Ori_lowkey - Same issue as saema. Not feeling it. Don't like the font, or the concept, sorry. Too many "trendy" features put together make it look like something from the 90's. Thank you for entering though.
Here's my proposal: Using the purpose of your site. * The umbrella - based on "Most blogs cover subjects that are so wide..." * Taking a bite and crumbs - based on "...we’ve created a blog focused solely on tighter niches..." Therefore, no more searching through blogs offering "big umbrella" or broad information, now one can find what s/he is looking for more efficiently since you offer a "product-focused" blog. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll be working on it soon. Anyway here's what I have made since yesterday. The text's font is the one that you liked from my previous entry. I made like an exploding, ( or falling crumbs) mouse pointer to go with it. T
tickey - Looks great to me. No further modifications I can think of. Very happy with it. Thanks again for entering. waiz86 - Not really liking this either. The D is strange, and the C looks scared or something. Not to mention the font chosen for the below text is still not what I am looking for. Sorry. di-vahyn - Very interesting concept. I am worried about the umbrella though, as it is a common feature in financial logos. IU do like the "crumbs" on the top that look almost like they are falling on the umbrella, and the typography and colours look nice. My only complaint is the the umbrella may be overused and that the G in Digital looks bad to me. The first one is definitely nicer than the second as well. tsoft - Everything looks okay, except that the arrows are kind of boring and over used. The crumbs are cool, though I don't know about the border they have around them. The Digital Crumbs text looks great, and so does Product Focused Blog Network. Good entry! sikka2010 - Not feeling any of these three concepts. I get the interlinking DC but the styles used both on the letters and around them don't suit my needs at all. Sorry. jokomamamita - Not really feeling the fading D. I don't think that it gives a good sense of the idea of the network. Taking the logo alone, what would you assume it meant? The DigitalCrumbs text looks nice, though the brown/green colour looks really off. Ori_lowkey - Not a big fan of the font used, nor the "fireworks" above them. Sorry. Not really a fan of you "trendy" second attempt either. tsoft - Still don't know if I like that brown, but nearly everything else looks amazing. Especially the lower example with the logo to the left. Very happy with it. The G looks like its wrong... too high, wrong size? Not sure... But I like the style of it, 100%. katesrobyn - Not a fan of the overlay you have used here, and the font used is too simple looking. Not what I am looking for in a logo. Thanks for your entry though.
