Logo for Personal Blog - $20, 48 hours

I'm after a fresh, fun, web 2.0 style logo for my personal blog. If you want to do something slightly humorous, go for it.

I want it to be 125px in height, and up to 350px wide. It will be aligned on the left where the current logo is.

Please use the colours associated with the blog already. I'm expecting whites, blues and greens.

I've not run a contest before, but if this goes well, I have 2 other contents to run. Winner gets $20 by Paypal.

It's definitely a fun logo. The tag line is a little too small. Perhaps you can change the font to one that stands out more?

The graphic isn't really bold enough. I'm after something simple but bold.

Not sure about those ears, but a very good entry.

It's too similar to my existing design, and doesn't feature much green. Got any other ideas?

here are 2 revised versions of the logo changed the font and mixed a green gradient with blue

Well see, what about putting a Smiley face?

The graphic is really good, but the ears are a little odd, even if it is an elf

Good choice of font there for the tagline, but I don't think the gradient works. Perhaps remove the lines under the eyes of the graphic? It looks a bit sad at the moment, and I want it to look happy, silly or surprised.

alright, i removed the liens under his eyes and drew him a mouth...he looks pretty surprised to me lol
also changed the gradient on tagline
