Logo for new website contest - $30

We're looking for a professional logo doing for our new site.
The company name is 'cultivar' and it is an online agency specialising in Pay per Click marketing.
Below the company name we'd like to see - 'TARGET YOUR CUSTOMERS'

Ideas to incorporate into the logo might include ONE of the following :
target
pinpoint
silhouette of person in place of 'i'
tannoy
voice amplifier
- better ideas welcome

Colours of the site are to be light grey background, text in dark grey (#6D828F) which will go red (#d14836) upon hover and it would be good if these could tie in.

Thanks for this - it's a good first entry. Prefer the top one which uses less of the red and I like the use of a clean simple font. I'm not sure about the person - kinda reminds me of a poster for an assassin film. Great first entry.

 

Yes - quite like this. Glad I kept it open for other ideas for logos. The font on cultivar needs to be more business like - currently it has a poster/cartoon feel to it but other than that it's pretty good.

Okay - thanks for the revision. Sans serif will work better for the font. No need to change as I can tell how this will look.

 

Certainly it is simple so there not much 'not to like'. I like the logo - it is as you say simple and to the point. The font is clean but a little thin. Would perhaps look better with one element in uppercase. If we can get the font right then the logo might look good as the dot on the 'i'.

Thanks. 3 entries ! Okay. Working own from top - I think the target over the text is a little noisy - making the word hard to distinguish.

The second one - I think I am moving away from including a person. Kinda reminds me of a basketball player.

Last one is ok but I prefer the other two. Thanks for entry and nice to see you here.

 

works well as the dot above the i. Better in bold but would prefer to see another font. Maybe this font can be used in uppercase on the lower words but look for a stronger sans serif font for the word cultivar. This is my favourite so far!
