Hi I have designed first logo for interior design company . Please take a look and post or PM your views Thanks maya
Same question. You can easily use something abstract as a logo, that's not wrong, but usually you include something like the first letter of the name, or something that makes you think of the company or what they do (just to tell you some basic stuff that can be added). Example: I like it anyway
it looks like a pacman trying to eat the 'Pinchood' text. no offense, just my 2 cents. it needs transparency and some effects.
Try again, no offense. What does that logomark even mean? A Logomark should have some meaning toward the message/image the company is trying to express...and therefore instill a feeling of trust in the consumer. I hope your not charging money for that. Thats the problem with graphic designers, everyone tries to be one, and charge for it, with no training. Then consumers get frustrated when they pay upfront for unprofessional designs.
good but you now we can add some web 2.0 effects to logo.Maybe you can pm me your site,so i can look it inside of design.
The logo is alright, it could use some sprucing up though. Like the previous posters mentioned, any significance of the circle thing?
The text is not going to be legible at small print, and it is not really descriptive - I could not guess what the company is doing or what the company values are or whatever else about the company by just looking at the logo. When you are designing a logo you should try to provide the following: 1. Distinctive, unique recognizable shape 2. Legible typo at different sizes 3. Good company representation 4. Usability at different media (black and white, negative, web, print) You have done a great job with number one. You still need to work on 2, 3, and 4
Im not a designer... so from a laymans perspective it seems to me that it's not so great. but has potential. The lettering is not very clean and is not easy to read. The colours seem a little washed out. And the circle logo pic seems not well positioned around the last letter 'd'. But having said that... its far better than I could do
Thank you all , The font used is antsy pants font , client suggest this font. The compan is into Home interior supplys , like mosquito nets , interior blends pinchood dot com , Logo is a globe design , as this new company emerging in this world. Also they get interior materials across the world
Maya, Where the "d" is nestled within the circular logo on the right, I would suggest trying to make it "fit" in a bit more. You might want to try altering that part of the circle shape to make the d fit in more like a puzzle. -GR
