Logo Design

Hey. I haven't run a competition in a while so I thought I'd make another one. =P

Anyways, I need a logo/banner for my new unofficial Ubuntu community that's gonna be powered by Joomla. The theme I will be using is this one:

So please make it have the same background colour as the default banner on the theme.

These are some logos that I like:



I need a small logo to be designed (please be creative) and then the logo added to the title of the site "Kwiloo" and underneath; "The Unofficial Ubuntu Community".

The winner can have a custom MyBB/vBulletin/SMF theme aswell as a year's free hosting courtesy of my hosting company; Yanix - http://www.yanix.net/hosting/ - Business package worth $250 in total.

The contest will close when I find a banner & logo that I like.

Okay, slight change of plan. Firstly, I LOVE those logos, Jacqueline. Secondly, We will be using Wordpress now so we don't necessarily need a fixed background colour, but can the colour scheme of the logo now be blue, please?

I'm glad you like the design. The colors can easily be changed. Here it is all in blue w/light and dark blue backgrounds.

 

Just a few rough ideas...if you're feeling it I can remake the symbol better, etc.
