I need a set of logos done up for a project of mine. I'll need something to put on a business card and something to use as a watermark on videos. The project focuses on independent film making in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. for inspiration and an idea of what I might like, a couple of Kaohsiung's icons include the Tuntex sky tower: the hello kitty ferris wheel atop the dram mall The official city logo can be seen here: http://www.kcg.gov.tw/english/jsf/CityLogo.jsf it is basically an interpretation of the Chinese character "Gao" or "Kao" in Kaohsiung. I mention this because I really like the design and would probably go with something along the same lines that incorporated both characters which are: 高雄 The hotel splendor's logo is a cartoonized tuntex sky tower (pictured above) - the logo can be seen on the splendor's page at: http://www.thesplendor-khh.com/ There is a logo in the center near the top, and again near the botton here is a screen grab from one of my films - I'm using this in all of my films - I bring this up because, ideally, I envision something that would be the "what up, kaohsiung?" in a circle around a cartoonized tuntex sky tower or better yet something similar to the Kaohsiung city logo. As info, the font used in "what up kaohsiung" in the above is QTKung-fu - any text in this logo should use this font O.K., so with all of that, who's up for the challenge and how much will it cost me, what file type can you provide it in?
I've decided on what I want, definitely text on a circular path..the text is "What Up Kaohsiung" and should look like this: inside the circle I would like the Chinese characters 高雄 - but the need to be stylized much like the Kaohsiung city logo (which is just a stylized version of the first character 高) you can see it here: http://www.kcg.gov.tw/english/jsf/CityLogo.jsf so, what I want, rather than the colored ribbon is for the characters to be done in a film strip....I have my doubts that it would work well with the 2nd character (雄) but I'd like to give it a try anyhow
