    First of all you must have creative mind finding new new thing and to make something from given things.

    If you can do such things then just learn the software like photoshop, coral draw, illustrator. And join some logo designing company as a trainee and learn.

    i have to agree with the above responses, a creative mind is the first step, you also need to know how to use a few programs, i personally use adobe photoshop cs5 for logo designs, the pen tool would be a good place to start practicing on logos

    Its all up to you that how creative minded you are ,and i think practice & learning is better for beginners.Just watch tutorial and make your work professional.

    Hey friend in designing you need to best every time. so important thing is you need the creative mind. what is the use hard work and lots of practices if you cannot create a best designing.

    According to me you must have creative mind for designing field.

    Just start to simple font .do work on it ,to make decent and i think in blending option you can find many things to make your logo
    good .Good luck

    Yep after the 1st 500 logos things start to look a bit better . So after the 1st 2000 hours of logo desing you'll finally start producing some decent stuff . All you need then is clients .
