I'm sure that's understood, but a "well designed" logo, ie: nike's branding, or mcdonald's may be simple as pie, but they are very meticulously contructed and whatnot. Creating unique branding gets harder and harder everyday, as mroe and more are created.
I own a brand development company and charger $2500 to $5000 for a logo. There is alot of research involved. Too many of the low priced logos look like it. Everyone thinks they are a designer these days. Most of the work I see is crap. but at the prices they are charging, i guess it works out. ox
It depends, if your website is for something small, probably $100 - $200, but if you want a website for something like a large corporation, you'll want to look into $500 - $5000, originality is something hard to come by these days, and for a truly unique and well made logo it won't be cheap.
As a deisigner with 2years experiance, i never go for 50$- So try range 50-100$ The more, the better quality and effort the designers will put into the logo creation.
Most people have no idea how long it takes to create a nice logo, counting research, creating, revisions etc. I find alot of clients don't want to pay anything of $40. But then again theres the other people who think if its cheap its not quality and would rather pay more. So I suppose anything from $40- a few hundred is fine.
i think 30 is a fair price for a good professional looking logo. But, i mean if you really want for it to look more than just professional, then be prepared to pay like 50 to 100 $, some even more.
Yes, for a logo designed it really needs to have an aesthetic sense and a good research that could bring up a speaking out logo. The cost depends upon how much effective and brilliant logo you want for your website. If it is a simple one than surely the cost is few dollars and if it is sophisticated one than no doubt the cost is higher too.
We usually take between $400 and $1000 for a logo depending on the business . A full identity logo , business cards, letterhead and envelop , goes between $1400 and $2000
I've seen logos go for as little as $5.00. However, you get what you pay for in this world. For professional work your looking at anything from $250 to $1000.
this is what i get for 25 and three post, which i'm pretty happy compare with those charge me thousand dollar and few day for explaining .... Btw this is best 25 dollar i ever spend
yup it looks like a $25 logo needs some tweeking that can make it for $350 The type is nice , while the condo before the "C" is a bit childish , needs some work. Good luck
here's the difference when i do a logo for $250 and the logo for $1000 : Logo for $250 : 1- do not do any research or check any of the clients competitors visuals and identity 2- just put some fonts and try to make it look like a logo 3- create 3 or 4 samples ... 4- The job is done in less than 5 hours While the $1000 and up logos : 1- you begin your research 2- Study the clients business 3- study the clients competitors identity and visuals 4- come up with a new concept related to the client business 5- come up with a new font or symbol for the logo related to the business 6- Show the client only one logo This is some of the steps taken for the logo design, which takes days, weeks and sometimes months depending on the client and his mood
I don't list a price on my website, but I'd usually charge $50 for a logo, sometimes more. The more they pay, the more time I give to the project
Good logos take time.. You can get someone to hack you out one for $25. but then you have to look at it everyday and it is what represents your business. :-/ Good logos evolve fist you get some good layouts hang them on the wall look at them ask people what they think have the designer make some more changes hang it on the wall look at it some more. How many changes? How many hours? Maybe dozens? Most good logos have hundreds of hours of work into them. I usually bid a very basic logos at 4 hours but I set them up so they can be easily modified and people can put more changes into them and they can evolve into something someone loves and want to represent them and their business. Most logos I have seen in contest were very amateurish full of junk that will print bad.
