How much should I expect to pay for a good logo design for my website?

If you put a competition up on DP you can get a selection to choose from for around $20.

If you want something brandable, it would cost from 50$ to 300$, if you want something that just stands for the website, it would be 20$-30$.

Not necessarily, the simplest logos can be brandable.

What I meant was that a lot of big sites have very simple logos, which if you have a good enough idea are easy to create.

Just go to the contest forum and start a contest. Put up a prize that you can afford and will be fair enough to entice deisgners.

You'll get some awesome degins in that forum - I've never been disappointed.

    Typically, I pay $50 for a logo + header.

No less than 25 $$$. tho i think some designers r sellin themselves short. If u find a designer desperate for $$$, u might be be able to get one for below 25. U can find some on this forum, too.

If you want something basic and you're not looking at making a living from your company then yes you can get something done for $25.

But for more established business you should look into incorporating it across your marketing material and business plan... 500+ for a more established brand for your company

$20-$35 maybe? If it's really really really good then maybe $50, $100 is just overpriced for logos imo. :)

You can get premade logos for as little as $9.95 or custom logos for up to $800.00.

    i agree with chaps.

For Creating a logo which is unique and matching the concept of the company, takes lot of time. And The logo may look simple but to make that it requires lot of work, sometime after making 5 or 10 designs the designer himself will be satisfied with the logo, and after that the client will ask for more chnages :)

For a logo that has more to it, in the sense of research I would say your looking to pay between £180-£600 from a junior designer.

You can get logos done cheaper that would work fine, however, it always depends how much your willing to put into your website/business and logo.
