    sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Client is on holiday but has provided some initial feedback

    ngodz - simplicity is good
    GM8 - nice shield + key idea but the key shape is incomplete and so doesnt look fully functional and the name Austin gets a bit lost in the design
    divineworld - quite a corporate feel - maybe a bit too subtle - we are a hands-on outfit

    He will provide more feedback when he gets back from holiday, so please bear with us.

    General comments - we are after an emblem that's easy to recognise (the key on my business card would be an example - see attached) with the name Austin featured prominently.

    Also attached is a logo concept that they started developing a while ago. They were trying to develop a logo where the word Austin is in the shape of a key.

    With all respect, what is Your goal with these posts?

    As You can see after he was busted (and I'm talking about just this case, because he was catched a few times), submitted again the same clipart.

    Do You think, that this person is respecting the rules of DP?

    • don't lie
    • don't cheat
    • don't steal
    • don't spam
    Some of us work really hard to make unique logos, and when a cheater win a contest with cliparts and with stolen stuffs, what do you think how we feel?

    Please, if You have time, explain the behavior of the staff in these clear cases.

    Had I caught that you had posted your alert, I would not have posted. The purpose of my post was to alert the contest holder that the image was not 100% unique, to put the contest participant on notice that we expect contest participants to be up front about their designs, and state in their submissions if any part of the design involves elements found elsewhere.

    Some member who make bad post reports on other members in a design contest call out the member themselves, others do not and just make a bad post report. I did not see your post.

    I ask, because he clearly violates the rules, and in a shameless way...I posted the original source of the clipart, and he submitted again!!!

    Do You think that every time he is busted, You post a notice like in this case and that's enough?

    If the rules are not applicable in these cases, then when?

    I think (and I have a feeling, that there are a few others also, who will agree with me) that this guy should be banned...

    Anyway I'm not going to spam the thread of the contest holder.

    There should be maximum 3 to 4 warnings and then ban for at least 3-6 months otherwise it will keep on happening.
