Not looking for anything over complicated or detailed hence the prize fund but would like something sleek and professional looking. The company name is: Drops and Tops For the logo you can use the word "and" or an ampersand "&". The company specialises in ground work and outdoor surfaces like tarmac, block paving, driveways, walk ways etc. Here is the website header it is going to be on: The logo will be in the Red part of the header. Please note this needs to be provided as Vector or print ready PSD (300dpi) on a transparent or removable background, as it may be used on business stationary at a later date. Any questions ask here I will check back only planning to run the comp for a short period or until I see something I like. Payment will be by Paypal when the winner is chosen. Thanks.
Transparent and 300DPI can also provide .psd file if needed. Watermark will be removed after purchase
cher2: Just isn't what I had in mind, not really the quality I was hoping for either. plazmaDesign: Good effort but the text is just text, nothing done to it. Also the icon is a nice idea but they are more for driveways and repairs rather then road laying as such so it may give the wrong impression. Bad Duck: To basic I have already tried fonts but then thought I would open it up for something a bit more creative. designs101: Not bad I don't think the first icon makes much sense to the company but the second one could work. Thanks for the entry. nidhi1100[at]gmail.com: Again not really what I had in mind, sorry. Hide_My_Ass: Not sure if the background splash was meant to be part of the design but in any case I don't think the design works, sorry. masjacky: It's a nice concept although I don't feel it look quite right on the header. Also the word Drops in the name refers to curb dropping for driveways and levelling ground, nothing to do with liquid or water sorry i should have mentioned that in the first post. If it helps everyone further, the bulk of their work is Block Paving for driveways so a relevant logo icon could be like interlocking blocks or something. I also don't think Arial types font are going to work to well with the site design, we have used Century Gothic and Times for the site fonts. The logo doesn't have to be these fonts but at least you can guage the direction we are heading in. Thanks for all the entries so far. a winner will definitely be picked in any case, even if we don't chose one to use. David
Ok thanks to everyone who entered it is really appreciated. While writting my last reply I gave myself an idea which actually worked out alright so I am going to run with that. Can masjacky please contact me with your paypal email address as I let my wife choose a winner for the contest. I am happy to pay out the full $30 and I don't need any artwork from you. Thanks again to everyone who got involved. David
As mentioned above I managed to work something up myself which works well so I ended the contest and chose a winner. Thanks again for all the entries but no more are necessary.
