Contest LOGO design contest - great site for your portfolio! - $40

We are having a logo design contest ONLY on the Digital Point forums.

Logo must include this word, however we are open to various types of capitalization or non-capitalization:


It will be a classified ads website in Asia/Thailand (buy/sell cars, houses, jobs, etc).

This is the basic (temporary) design you are seeing right now on the homepage. The design will likely change soon, so we are seeking a "transparent background" logo that can blend into various background colors and designs in the future.

Here are some of our requests:
- logo should represent things like cute, fun, energy, and/or Thai culture
- logo should be very "clean" with sharp lines and strong contrast (no muddy colors)
- logo can make partial use of a "green" color like on the homepage, OR NOT, but if NOT should use basic colors such as black with decorative color highlights, or etc.

We don't want to be too restrictive, so please submit any creative ideas you have, and we will offer you quick feedback to every submission. Also, so that nobody wastes their time, we will quickly post an update when we have chosen a design. We are hoping this only takes a few days maximum.

We can pay you immediately via AlertPay or Paypal, your choice (minimum $40 with possible bonus for an awesome design).

My try....I used some warm colors that look like energy and they are fun too I hope you like it and you will feedback

Thanks for your entry. I think warm colors could actually work. However these colors are a bit too "typical warm palette" for me and don't seem so refined.

Also, your abstract shape is cool, but a little too abstract for this consumer oriented site.

Also, the design should retain more of a 3:1 type of ratio (horizontal). Also you spelled the name wrong. Thanks!

 

But you like the concept ? I can to it 3:1 and change the colors if you tell me what you want me to use...thanks

I remade it ...now the writing is correct and I'm sorry for the last time...I combined the cold colors in the logo with some warm colors in the writing and I hope you'll like this more...everything is editable so only tell me what you need changed...Thanks

@Animman I do like your new colors a bit better, but the design is not really what we are looking for and I'd rather you not spend more of your time. Thank you much anyways. =)

@misterbadz, your second design is very catchy and close to some of what we imagined in our heads. Can you offer a few variants/updates on that design? For example, make the Thai letters fit into the same dimensions as the English title in the logo. Also, your English font is very cute and the colors are great, but might you offer us a few other font options just so we can see?

@cristiano18, we think that is a wonderful design however it seems more fit for a web design firm, or something like that. Also, the name is spelled wrong. =D If you have something else, we would love to see it. Thank you anyway!

@superawesome, I do like your concept on the left, it is simple and clean, however it doesn't have the "feel" we are hoping for. It reminds me of a cool social network or something like that. The ratio is a bit wrong for our design too (unless you can offer a few variations with a better ratio near 3:1). I will have to say no to that unfortunately. Thank you!
