Contest will end by 10/17/2014 by I do reserve the right to extend contest if it so happens that I don't find entrant that I like.

I also reserve the right to end contest early if I find entrant that I like, but the goal is to have contest closed by the end of Friday, going into the upcoming weekend.

Who: Hope Through Hoops

What: Hope through Hoops is a non profit organization providing youth programs in the fields of education, mentorship volunteerism and athletics both locally and internationally. Our mission is to give every child the opportunity to push their social, educational and athletic boundaries to become better young adults!

Style: Bubbly, fun loving, soft feeling logo that incorporates basketball in it.

Color: No real preference. Just make it look good.

Hopefully this helps those who may have had problems with the link!

These are vector files and hope you like.

 

Nice clean design... And although we like the attempt and it's an eye-catching image, it seems to be a little too "holy" of an image. Hoops kind of looks like halos. But very clean logo. Not what we looking for however.

As of right now, no mods need to be done. Client likes this logo and in top 3. He likes the classic look and feel of this. Will keep you posted on feedback if needed.

Edit: He would like to see some color added to this somehow, maybe colorize the ball orange or something like that. Be creative.

You're also in the top 3 as well with the silver embossed version of the logo. Client would like to see a version though of this
with a silver embossed globe over the silver basketball? He would like the ball to also be a globe if this makes sense. Would like to see countries on globe of course on at least the side that is facing us.

Unfortunately your logo doesn't really follow the specs. We need the logo to emphasize basketball and highlight that aspect of the nonprofit organization and your logo doesn't quite do that at all.

It is a nice logo but not remotely close to what we're looking for like with the others.

He likes this image..he really likes the silver version of your logo but he wants the basketball to be solid like in your first example but having an additonal embossed layer of the earth over it if that makes sense. And you can really make out the earth but also know that it's a basketball.

The top version with the color...he would like to see some other colors with the lettering.

But as for the embossed layer of earth on the basketball image will not looking good and its much more difficult to recognize what behind it [which is basketball the main image what you want..so hiding that behind the earth will not make sense i guess according to me ]

So I have done some revisions keeping earth and basketball together in my mind.
{and one more thing if your client has any specific colours in his mind please let me know so it will be easy for me to think and implement on it }

He was really stuck on the embossing of the logo but I agree that it doesn't quite look as nice when you try to add both elements. He really doesn't like the way it looks flat when compared to the embossing version of it. But good entry.

 

There's a lot of good entries...

I promise to pick the winner by sometime tomorrow...and we're most likely going with 2 winners. It's too hard to decide.
