Brief Overview
A hip logo is needed for a new consulting firm that provides mentoring, strategic planning and business development solutions to multi-disciplinary clients including futurists, scientists and green product innovators. This new breed of thinkers are inventing sustainable technology and while they definitely are brilliant specialists, they need help building brands, identifying market opportunities and creating strategic relationships. Our activities will include developing new markets that do not yet exist. Many of the projects will be start-up companies who will need design help. I look forward to working closely with you.

Target Audience
Our clients will include scientists unravelling the secrets of plant genomes, new crop researchers, alternative energy engineers, biofuel companies or sustainability entrepreneurs who are passionate about the science and innovation necessary to create environmentally responsible products for modern supply chains.

Requirements
* This logo will be used to build the brand and should translate well in black and white.
* The logo will be used in print, interactive and on-screen and should give a hip (think Wallpaper) vibe but with a serious scientific tone. The impact should be professional and distinctive.
* Please submit in standard print and web file formats

Prize
Winning entry, on transferring all fonts used, PSD graphic and entire copyright, gets $100.

And am I the only one who thinks that it's ridiculously unprofessional to post the contests at different prices in different places? What, do you think DP is cheap?

 

I agree. That's why I'm not wasting my time with this one.

 

Let´s face it: This place IS cheap(er) - for a variety of reasons: very little moderator activity in terms of copyright violations with the side effects that many contests are swamped with rip offs and / or clipart, plus the quality of the submissions here is much lower than e.g. at 99designs where vector submissions are taken for granted, there are no ominous submissions via PMs and consequently less abandoned contests.

To be honest, by digitalpoint standards, someone being so honest and polite to tell everyone that this contest is also active elsewhere is a nice surprise. Digitalpoint seems to have no interest in ensuring satisfactory contests. I´m not criticizing, I´m just telling it the way it is.
