Please read this entire posting before entering this contest. Site Concept: The website offers a search engine optimization tool. You can see the preliminary version (http://www.webvitals.org). Basically you enter in a domain and it will fetch backlinks, pagerank, alexa rank, and a few other items. I have other major plans for this website, and it will eventually become a major SEO portal/tool. There are alot of major plans for expanding this tool and adding alot of cool features, but it's in the very early stages of development. I can't provide any more details than what you see in the report it generates because somebody could easily jump the gun on us. Contest Specifics: You can enter as many logo's as you want, but they must meet all of the requirements below to be considered. The logo should be 500x500 pixels or larger. I will shrink it down as needed to suit the site. Your entry can be watermarked, however if you win the contest I will expect you to remove the watermark. You can put you name/url/whatever in your watermark if you use one, but I expect it to disappear if you win. The winner of the contest will supply me with BOTH the PSD file and a .gif version (not animated). If you use any non-standard fonts you must include them as well. The PSD file should use web colors, not CMYK. The logo should have a white background with no border. I want to keep it fairly simple and plain. The rest of the site, when developed, will be using a very minimalistic design with alot of whitespace.. Due to the domain name, it would be cool if you could include some sort of digital pulse display that you see on heart rate monitors, but it's not essential or required. I personally am partial to blue and/or green colors, but it's not required. Do not use any colors that are eyesores (i.e neon pink). I'd prefer not to have alot of pictures, mostly I'm looking for the domain and some sort of tagline (make one up that suits the site). Lastly, the site will NOT be called Sitebot at any point in the future. Please do not include that name in your logo at all, that was just a nickname I made up for it when doing the initial coding and haven't changed the text on the homepage yet. The official name is just webvitals.org. I will try to provide constructive feedback to everybody that enters to improve your chances, but do understand I have to pick 1. I would like to pick the winner by Sunday, preferably sooner, however I will keep this open until Saturday morning at the very least. If we get alot of entries, I may extend the deadline a few days to provide feedback to everybody if I have the time time. I will do what I can to provide some feedback to every entry, but I cannot promise that I will due to time restraints. The winner will be paid via Paypal, no exceptions.
That looks really amazing Mitcharr, is the graphic a stock photo or did you make it yourself? The only thing that I can really think to change would be the shadow under the graphic, it doesn't look quite right.

Just some feedback for everybody: Xaralee - that is a very cool design, and you would have won if mitcharr didn't enter the contest. The only feedback I could suggest would be to move the heart line to behind the text, but overall your graphic looks amazing. This is regarding the second entry, I don't really think the first entry would have worked well for this site. rkquest, xluciusx, matchstick, and BioSpherical - you entries were all very good. However when compared to mitcharr and Xaralee I'd have to say the overall quality just wasn't as high. You do have good skill though, they just went a step further than you. As with Xaraless, any of you could have easily won but I felt that mitcharr's was the best overall. nwsn3twrkshp - you logo was on the lower end. No offense intended, but compared to the other entries yours was just not as good overall. It didn't have the URL, and the graphic used I felt just wasn't that appropriate.
