Logo copyright

    Hi guys, i purchased a domain that expired a while ago, i checked backlinks and there was a link to a website with a logo linked to the said domain. I tried to contact the website owner a few times but got no reply. So do you think i would be able to use this logo? or how can i trace former domain owner? what u think ? thanks

    No, you cannot just use it. You have no rights to the logo.

    Thanks it wasnt the sites actual logo, it was the of the former domain i purchased.. still a nogoer i suspect

    Unless you created the logo or otherwise obtained the rights to use it from the person who did then you have no right to use it. This is a black and white legal issue.
