Thanks for the changes. Honestly, the more I look at it the more I like it. The problem is the more you look at a logo the more "faults" you try to pick so you end up with a flawless design. The C in the word direct looks a little like a G or an O. I am not sure if anything can be done to fix it. I need the words .com.au to appear somewhere as part of the logo. Perhaps (this is just a suggestion) you can place .com.au somewhere on the right, right underneath the word direct and write world class proteins on the left (underneath protein). these are just some suggestions: you're the designer. From what I seen so far yours is the one I like the best.
Thanks for the entry shibligd. The logos you submitted surely follow my instructions which is great. However, they both look a little plain for me. For example the first one has the .com.au on the top which I don't think its suitable. The second one again follows my instructions but again is a little plain.
Correct Hecky. Jamess already entered. I was wondering that before he posted his entry. But just as I was thinking that moments after he posted his entry.
I was talking earlier I would like a more conservative/corporate look. I am not sure how clear it is from the image below, but this is what I consider (at least in my mind) an ideal example of a conservative/corporate logo. Hope this helps those who are entering my contest or who are thinking of making changes.
Yes, that is a sharp logo. Proteindude, do you want shading in the logo? Drop shadows? I've been making my artwork solid vector colors for easier printing.
Hello KiaOra Don't stress to much about printing. As I understand these days the printers can get good quality out of almost anything. Sure a vector format is an even better one but the rest is still OK to print. I am not sure whether I want the drop shadows. In my mind for your design to win, it would have to have a very similar font (clean, bold, "corporate) and effect as the Regency one. The colour will still have to be red though. So yes you can use some small shadows effects if you want. It will not affect the printing.
