Contest Logo contest for poker site - $35 for 4 Days - Simple, bold design

FindHomePokerGames.com needs a logo.

It's a poker site to find home poker games (in case it wasn't obvious). Therefore something to do with a search icon (a magnifying glass?) would look good on the left. The website is basically a map of home poker games with not much else on it.

It has to be horizontal (not too vertically high as I want the map on the viewable page) on one line due to the length, e.g "[icon] Find Home Poker Games"
I want the word "Find" a different colour to "Home Poker Games". Use a common font, nothing scripty/flashy.

Basically, nothing too fancy, keep it clean, simple, bold and "web 2.0ey"

Colour theme: Red, Blue and black (will be on white background on top left of site).

Hmmm - I kinda like it but am unsure about it - it's a cool idea but I am not sure if it is over complicated. Can you try a 2D chip and try out the color differences on Find and "Home Poker Games"? I don't think the icon works when it is in "hOme" - it's a bit hard to read the word "home".

Looking at that logo - another option (instead of having it all on one line) - might be to have Find at the top and then Home Poker Games underneath, left aligned against the chip...

@gipanuhotko: Not quite right The icon is a nice size but I don't like the 4 cards (Texas Holdem is 2 cards in the hand and most common) - also, the words "Home Poker Games" need to be grouped together - Find is the odd word out. I also think that all 4 words should be the same size as they are both ("Find" and "Home Poker Games") of equal importance. 2 different colours would be the best way of separating the 2.

After looking at the entries I would like a dark blue/dark red, with black.

 

@willhaynes: Good - but needs to be all same font, and without the .com at the end. I don't like the colours (try dark red and blue please)

@raju14312: No, it needs to be horizontal and much simpler. No italics.

@Dakouten: Hmm - those poker chips make it hard to read and I think it needs spaces between the words. Find needs to be 1 colour and "Home Poker Games" another colour.

@Alexandru21: The image is too big - I need something small and simple like this (http://99designs.com/logo-design/store/6041) (2 cards for THNL). Find needs to be 1 colour and "Home Poker Games" another colour. Please use a San Serif font.

 

I have created 2 of my own entries to give some ideas - perhaps something on 2 lines (but not too high)




but with one of the fonts I suggested above (and darker colours)

 

Something else to possibly try: Forget the icons and put the word "Find" in a wrapping like this

It could be different sizes, but then the word "Find" has to remain in a separate group from "Home Poker Games" - otherwise all the same size..
