My first entry :

 

Thanks everyone for the submissions so far! There are a couple that are strong at this point but no single one that we think perfectly matches our goal, so we're looking forward to more submissions! The most successful submissions so far are those that are sleek, readable, & meaningful that embody true friendship.


Some ideas for true friendship images that have come up are arms around each other, high fives, and standing/seated people back to back. Other ideas are definitely welcome, as these don't seem to be perfect.


One logo design idea that came in via PM from a non-GA, which I think could make an awesome logo:
What if you just had like little people sitting on top of the letters, like some waving to each other, others talking on the phone or playing a game or getting a drink, others laughing


@allsnsd: I'm looking for something more modern/sleeker@logos4all: This site is for all genders and is focused on friendship. So I'm not sure the rose is the best choice of image.
@kainraziall: I like each of the first two of the revised designs. This is one of my favorites thus far. I think the current logos could be improved by removing the arms on the second i, and by making the initial i just a little more readable in each? so that its obviously an i but still a person. Any other ideas you have for making a similar logo but more friendship oriented would be great.
@nora: The look/feel is nice but the blob/stone logo isn't really tied to friendship.
@naathans: I like the last one with the dotted high five best... can you make that sleeker looking, like the text in @kainrazialls? I'm also looking for the people/i's to be a bit more readable.
@naathans part 2: I really like the people on the i's as the best of all yours. I'd prefer a bit of a fuller/wider font. Also is there a way to make it a bit more of a high five? Other ideas would be to have 1 of the dots be people with their arms around each other and the other the high five.
@muddy: I like these, the second better than the first. I think ultimately we're just looking for something that is a little less obtrusive (the people smaller than the text) and a bit more friendship oriented. Like maybe people sitting back to back or with arms around each other?
@ariusd: Probably my favorite look/feel. While coffee is friendship oriented for sure, I think we're looking for something that is more general friendship, rather than a specific type of meeting in person. Any ways of incorporating a different image into that would be awesome.
@misterbadz: Thanks for the submission. I think it's unclear what the people are doing (and also a bit unclear that those are people), so this probably isn't what we're looking for. Images should be very obviously friendship.
@chrisb: It's a nice logo, just not as much what we're looking for. Readability is a must so script should be avoided. The two people while nice almost seemed turned away form each other, not like friends.
@rcubed: I like the look/feel of this one a lot. I'm not sure a handshake is the best image though, it seems businessy v. friendshipy.
