    I need a logo for a new upcoming website called MacImprove.com

    The winner will be awarded $25 via Paypal. Contest ends on Aug 23, 2009 at 12:05pm.

    About the store:
    We'll be selling various Mac products, such as computer memory, accessories and hardware. We won't be selling books or guides. We may eventually set up a forum and/or blog for it.

    Theme colors:
    Gray and blue. Feel free to add any colors that you feel would work together.

    Target:
    Mac fans and users throughout the world.

    Could you share a little bit about what the new site will be targeting? (E.G. - Selling Mac Books, Selling Mac Desktops, Selling Mac accessories, Selling Mac guides, Mac repairs, Mac topic forum, Mac Upgrade articles, A guy named Mac, etc...)

    Your target market & or product line may help everyone in the development process of the logo. ;)

    Here's my concept Idea
    Ok, I wanted to convey "MAC" in the logo, but I wanted to make sure that the logo in "NO WAY" infringed the original mac logo. I got a little abstract with it so that people still have a hint of mac relation, but it's clearly different & original.

    Thanks :), Ya I was Playing on the word "Improve" in the company name & figured an original abstract with just a hint of mac would give a psychological "Improving Mac" as it takes a new improved form. Whilst not literally, but the play on words integrated in the abstract felt right to me.

    Of course, I'm just one out of several creative designers & I'm sure others will come up with something just as or more ingenious. :)

    Here's my entry. It's as close as you'll get to representing Apple without copyright infringement. I used the Apple Myriad typeface and the leaf from the trademark to dot the I.
