I need a logo for a site I'm soon to be working with someone on. The site will host office sports pools/leagues for a bunch of different sports (american football, soccer/futbol, baseball, hockey, auto racing etc). $50 US via PayPal to the winner I don't really have a layout or color scheme in mind as of yet...it may flow from the look/feel of this...we'll see when I get a chance to sit down and get to work on it. What I'd like is a logo for the site (hostedpools.com) with a suitable favicon (16x16 and/or 32x32), that is suitable for both web & print (300 dpi). As far as deliverables, I'll need the source vector doc (for resizing, possible color change) of both the logo and the favicon and any non-common fonts used(since photoshop/illustrator like to replace them). The contest will run until Dec 16. I'll try to pop on periodically and provide feedback on all submissions. I do reserve the right to not pick a submission if there aren't any submissions that I'm satisfied with. I doubt this will be the case as I've seen alot of great work on here. If you have any questions, please post or PM. Thanks and good luck!
@Magestry - Not sure what the fish has to do with sports pools... @Brand0n34 - I'n not sure any of the above fit at all...just random images with the name thrown in. @wad - Not a big fan of the 'reflection'...is the boxes image stock, created or pulled from something else? *** received a few submissions via PM...I'd prefer they were all put up here for all to see. PM was for questions...
Cool...was just curious...I've seen several people just pull images from templates...always nice to know who does their own stuff.
Hey, sorry about the first try, don't know why I even did it lol, so here are a few I put together, hopefully you will like these. Please give feedback again! Thanks.
@joko - i like it...simple, stands out...and the thing at the top can be used for a favicon... @pixo - it's cool...i like that it works with both light and dark bg, but that said...not in my favs so far @spiraz/mag - no need to argue...not a huge fan of it either way. @waiz - I like the concept & the art...not a fan of the smaller letters mid word tho. @brandon - i like that one much better...maybe make it a bit bolder? might just be the watermark that makes it look faded...
