Logo Contest. 50$. Will be picked a winner

Hello. I'm going to run a 50$ logo contest for 5 days. A winner will be picked.

This is the current logo:
This is the font: Clarendon Text Bold

I would like it redesigned. It should still be red, on white background and it should be somewhat alike, but more fresh.

It's for a retail company. It's a pretty rare shop.
They do sell in two niches.
Niche 1 : RC Toys.(RC helicopters, RC cars and so on)
Niche 2 : Costumes(Halloween costumes ++)

A cool thing would be to have some graphic elements from both this niches implemented with the logo. But I've tried to get a logo like that before, with no luck. So just a fresh text logo will be cool as well.

Payment will be done through paypal. I will require the .psd or .eps

 

do you definately want something graphically implemented with the logo or just a fresh text logo...?

Yes you are right. It's the very same contest. I have contacted l3fty allready, and I'm very sorry about it. The client of the logo was not 100% happy, and I just forgot about it. As you can hopefully see by my iTrader it's not something I normally do.

There will be picked a winner for sure.

I don't need anything graphically implemented with the logo.

I will leave feedback later. But the logo should be red on white background. No other colours

graphicband: If it should have graphic elements included it needs to come from both niches. Now it looks like it's for an avionic company. Nice logo though

Thanks for all the nice logos. Feedback:

Neuonic: I like it, it's fresh. Looks cool, and you can someway relate the two logos(the old one and the new). This is my favourite by now.
jeezy17: A fine looking one. But I'm not sure the grudgy style it what we are looking for.
katesrobyn : I'm not sure if I like the shades. I somehows feel the logo is a little too bold.

decided just use typography. graphical elements are out of fashion and type seems to be the way forward.
I chose this typeface as its bold like the current one have but it loses those old looking serifs.

Both logotypes use the red you wanted but i preferred the look of the second one.






if you want a web 2.0 look, dont choose mine, if you want a professional look with a simple style then this might be for you.
