    @frikusha:

    Very nice. So far in the contest, there have been 2 stand out entries. One that was received via private message and yours.

    This is professional, represents the 3D character, and is not overwhelming.

    If you don't mind, I'd like to see color variations, replacing the red. Perhaps even a gray tone, or some black for part of the text?

    Also - I think it's too tall. Perhaps the symbol could be positioned to the left of the text part.

    @nelutu:

    Much better. You've really zero-ed in on a better color palette, and it's more conservative now. It's a little more traditional in style, but still nice.

    I'd prefer the symbol be to the left of the text, and I think I would have to go with a different font choice.

    Great work.

    @freemanfunky:

    I love the bold, strong text you have used, emphasizing the brand. The font choice is also fantastic. It's conservative, but with character.

    Does the symbol represent something materializing in the center, sort of floating there? I.e. the larger red box in between the smaller is the object and is hovering between the other two?

    Or was there another idea being represented there?

    If that's the case, the top and bottom red bar might be better as a different, de-emphasized color, keeping the focus on the object forming (taking form) as the only red piece.

    3D Printers should be plural (Add an "s").

    Maybe the weight of the 3d printer font could be increased a bit.

    Could I see the 3D version (second one) with less of a shadow, or no shadow effect?

    Wow - you guys are making what, for a moment, looked like a very easy decision much harder. In the last little bit, your submissions and re-submissions have been outstanding!

    What an evolution! Great work. Your blue/beige color combination is fantastic. The client may like this. It has a very big presence, strong messaging, and now the colors are right.

    I'd be curious to see what the beige might look like with a grayish tone instead. I know it's kind of boring, but sort of techy in influence.

    @freemanfunky:

    The client likes your design, and says it's among her top 2.

    She did have a concern though. She says that the 3D text appears to be "more 3D' on some letters than others, and appears unbalanced, or it's meant to be at an angle, but looks a bit awkward.

    Option 1: All letters have the same 3D depth as the letter "M" at the end.

    Option 2: Making it appear as an arch, the front surface curved out towards the view, with it being the closest in the middle, and the farthest back (but equal) at both ends.

    Option 2 "sounds" complex. If you need further details, just ask. Not sure if you could do that.

    She describes it as:

    "Pulling the word Take Form towards you from the middle of it. Therefore towards both ends of the word, since the letters are further away from you, you should be able to see the 3D more than the center of the phrase which you're holding closer to you, and should not have any 3D."

    If you have the software capabilities to try something like that, it'd be great.

    Please change the top and bottom red bit to light gray. We'd like only the floating center object to be red.

    @nelutu:

    Thank you for the revision. It could work with the horizontal layout. I like the text better.

    I can see some options for improvement. At this point, however, I do not request any further changes as the client indicates they are unlikely to choose this design.

    For reference though, I would probably:

    1. Look for a new font with impact similar to what you are using, but less stylized.
    2. Consider alternatives for the red color
    3. Size down the icon part so that it's close in scale to the text area.

    @frikuska:

    Thank you for the revisions. Here are my observations:

    1. I like the shape of the leaning TF icon.
    2. I like the dark blue and colors of the 2nd alternative better.
    3. I would capitalize the "P" in printers
    4. If there was a way to make the length of "3D Printers" match the length of "Take FORM", it might make it look more balanced, better alignment.

    However, while I am personally a fan of the direction your logo is going, the client is leaning towards two other options, so I'm not going to request any further revisions at this time. Just wanted to be fair and give feedback for your reference.

    @Bluenix:

    Thank you for the updates. I think the blue is the best color choice (at least for what we have in mind). Thank for for the variation with the color of the symbols.

    At this point, the client is leaning towards other choices, so I cannot request further revisions. However, for feedback, I think the next thing I might personally experiment with is reducing the size of the symbol part, scaling down a bit closer to the text part.

    For your copy with the 3D text for "Take Form", I don't think that one is as effective as your others. I think the "Take Form" is better in 2D contrasting with the 3D of the main symbol.
