Contest Logo Contest $40.00 48hrs

The Logo is a non profit logo (the non-profit is establishing a new identity):

LAMP is a nonprofit organization (Lowndes Associated Ministries to People, Inc)
It's mission is to benefit the indigent and homeless in Lowndes County and surrounding areas.

We will use the logo for our website, brochures, business cards, etc.
(The website is temporarily down pending the new identity. Please feel free to ask questions if they will help you get a sense of the organization. )

*$35 bonus for beating deadline!

• Colors: We would like blue with perhaps either an accent of silver or gold.
• Fonts: We are not fond of the original fonts in the attached logos. We would like it to be able to stand alone with or without a mark.
• The file attached is two previous logos. The first is the original. The second used for a few months. (The genie type lamp was, I believe, suppose to symbol a miracle.)
• Mark/Icon - please no copyright images or clipart. We prefer, if considering a lamp like in the attached logo that it should be more abstract than concrete.
• Final logo needs to be supplied in the standard types, and we would like the original artwork (ai, psd...).
• We will run the contest for 48hrs, but extend if need be.
• Runner up will receive $5.00 via paypal.
• Winner will be posted on the forum, along with runner up.
• Payment can be made via escrow.com - if your preference is paypal we can still work with you. Our preference is escrow.com (we will pay the fees.)

As soon as we choose this logo and this contest concludes, we will create another contest for another logo. It will be for LAMP's annual campaign, Changing Lives. If the same winner of this contest wins the Changing Lives contest there will be a bonus included.

@shubham rana Thank you for your entry. I like how LAMP is integrated into the Icon. We also need LAMP to stand on it's own. The full name is not necessary in the logo itself- I do like the clearness of the font you have chosen.

Just a quick note before I retire for the night; I wanted just let everyone know what LAMP is: non profit homeless shelter but with a unique feature - 'it gives a hand up not a hand out'. The shelters clients', the indigent and homeless, are reintegrated back into society through programs until they become completely self sufficient on their own.

Sorry for the delay in responses...my colleague and will be looking these over in an hour, and we will start giving feedback.

 

Everyone, thank you for your designs...we have been looking over them, and are having a hard time between a couple of designs. We are extending the contest until tomorrow to announce the winner. The extra $35.00 will still be awarded as well (as we realize 48hrs was not enough time for either party).

 

I will enter tomorrow! I wanted to make something today but I created only the lamp :-/
