Logo Contest - $15 (health related)

website: www.contraboli.ro
dimensions: width ~ 2 x height
Colors: light blue + black
I won't use it on the site, so it doesn't need integration.
Note: it must include the text: "ContraBoli.ro" or "CONTRABOLI.RO" (depending on the font and it means: Against Diseases - contra = against, boli = diseases) and it must be readable at a scale of about 50 x 100 pixels.

I don't need something too fancy.

The contest end date is 3 days after first entry.

thanks for your interest. The text looks fine, but I'd like something else in the first part than the EKG-like graphic. The website is more about obstetrics&gynaecology so something from womens' health would be better.

thanks for your entry too. The CB melting looks very nice, good favicon idea. Can you try with capital C and B in ContraBoli, please? (at a smaller size, the b might look like a D)

Sorry cheafynelu, we were writing in the same time, I didn't see yours at that point. (.ro ar trebui sa se distinga de restul "linkului", iar graficul pare un EKG, si mai toate logourile de medicina au EGK-ul ala... colurile imi plac, e curat si lizibil - mai trebe C si B cu majuscula). Mersi de entry.

glodium, thank you too. I want empathize on the "contraboli.ro" so it should get the most surface. The blue is very nice.

At this moment I most like the "contraboli.ro" writing in TightWad's version and the "CB" melting in dimitri123's version. dimitri123's "CB" combined somehow with this sign: link would rock! (later edit: the women sign can be melt with the second O too, the O from BOLI)

TIP: the EKG-like graphic is not a strong point in the logo design because most of med sites have it.

Hmm.. Dont you think it is pretty much similar to my logo concept?

 

It is similar I agree but I am just doing what the Ch wanted, which is no different than you using the same Text style, right?

 

I appreciate your all efforts and I want to thank you for your interest in designing a logo for me. At this moment I most like TightWad's last entry (this doesn't mean the other ones are bad, I hope we all win at the end of the contest: experience and exercise are the most important things)

 

This is why I prefer submitting entries via PM..

 

If the CH picks mine because of my that entry (being so similar to yours) I'll split the winnings with you.

Thanks for your entry crowquill, I liked the idea of having the "women" sign because it is a standard and it is recognised everywhere, your logo idea is based on a mirror image of it, not exactly what I want.
