Hi, we are looking for a slick logo which can be used by our client on their new website, stationery and promotional materials. The requirements are as follows: Format: any vector image (so can be scaled as needed for print etc) Colours: simpler is better, greys are in use on the website design we are putting together, but client has also mentioned combinations of red, white and blue Font: Again, simple is best, but needs to be eye catching as well as readable. In the words of the client: Just as a point of reference, we CANNOT use any identifiable intellectual property of DC comics, those are strictly off limits. So, the competition rules: 1) Please post your samples in here, where possible I (and the website owner) will post feedback for you. Feel free to watermark your images etc for your own protection. 2) Contest closing time is 3pm 22nd July 2011 (British Summer Time). 3) If quality and/or quantity of entries is not high enough, we reserve right to not award any prize. 4) Prize will be payable by PayPal within 24 hours of competition closing. 5) All rights to the image will pass to the website owner on payment of prize money. 6) Designers agree that all images used are copyright and/or license free and have no stipulations or legal ramifications attached to them. hi proboho, thanks for the entry the logo is good, however Im not sure about your character and his mustache. The blue colour is nice, it might be worth trying the writing in red. could you try creating a different character.
Ah okay, I was trying to make him look more like the tough guys in 60's westerns, hence the mustache. Are you looking for a completely different character idea or just changing the face? Here's a variation without the mustache and with red text for now:

Hi helgaindra - personally I love your entry, although the wiggly line does remind me of Pepsi a bit too much - perhaps if it was more of a "pill" type capsule? I'm going to try and leave the feedback to Daman though as I said, he is the client so my views dont carry as much weight as his I'll ask him to provide feedback on as much as possible throughout the next day and a half. **edit** Daman beat me to it **
hi keyro, really like the idea, however that logo design with the arm has been used a couple times already by a few other sites. Its along the right lines.

We want it to look corporate however, have a slight street edge.
Here's another character type: If you like it, then maybe you would prefer it mostly colored in (dark blue suit) and an emblem of a pill on his forehead?
hi proboho, could you possibly change the character type all together? Its not the type we want. I like the font, could you possibly put the logo you design to the left of the wrighting and make it smaller. Maybe put the MS style wrighting that you have on the tubs on the side.
